David Duckett 09-Jun-10 16:55 I learned a long time ago that, for me, the best way to deal with a Guillows cowl is to glue it in place and adjust everything to it. The ones on this and the Beechcraft are both too small at the rear, a design flaw that would have been easy to correct. This cowl was off about 1/16" all around and the right side was 3/32" off. Fortunately, this method does work but it's a slow process and took most of the day to do. As someone once observed on here, Guillows plastic is what it is so I always expect a fight.
