What's the secret to keeping your fingers from sticking?
John M Oshust09-Feb-13 17:43
No secret. I shall be stripping glue from the phalanges all evening. A task similar to playing with a large ball of string...mindless play that is time consuming.

The secret to keeping your digits from sticking is.......Speed!
John M Oshust09-Feb-13 19:09
Fast now is not an option as I am always half fast:)

Is the glue on top of the polyspan or between the wood and polyspan? I can envision my speedy fingers sticking to both the polyspan, the wood and a multitude of words I learned from my 1st SGT.

Before it is sealed, poly-span is porous. When the CA is streaked on it penetrates and sticks the fabric to the wood. Usually no finger required. You can dope it on also. I have used both methods with equal success.

Thank you. Now it all makes sense.

Medium sandpaper on the fingers works too.
