almost all the covering is done. I had a bunch of trouble covering the wing, because when I cemented the dihedral joints and set 1 1/8" of dihedral and went to sleep... and when I came back it had 1 1/4" on one side and 7/8" on the other! It did this twic

Sorry, I forgot about the 500 character max, what I ment to say is: It did this twice, anyone else have this problem?

Never, How are you adding the dihedral? 1 1/8 is perfect for this bird and almost a necessity for it to fly stable. When building the wing don't glue in the spars until you are ready to add the dihedral. I make the wing flat then sand. After sanding I add the dihedral and spars. I use Elmers glue so I never worry about everything drying too quick. Use blocks under the wing tips. Apply glue to the joints where the dihedral begins. Add all the top spars and let it dry. When dry remove from the board and apply the bottom spars. Good luck, don't forget the washout when covering the wing.

Thanks, I used small pieces of balsa to set the dihedral, and then pinned it down tight. I did it like you did, except I used acetone glue. Also, what is washout?

Helps plane recover from stalls, definitely needed on Guillow kits. Here is a good link, http://tpbweb.com/media/catalog/619.pdf

Thanks, do you know if I can still add washout? Can you give me some tips? The tissue is peck-polymers esaki on top, and stock guillows tissue on the bottom. Thanks - SuperCub
