David Duckett 28-Jan-14 05:57 The plans call for upper and lower keels to be 1/16" stock 1/8" wide and there are no side keels. I did that on the P-80 but did not build each half as shown here. That caused a substantial twist towards the rear which required extra wood and repair work. This time I'm building the two halves on 1/16" stock and will put all the stringers on before removing them from the board. This kit is designed for rubber power and if built according to the plans should be quite light. I plan to make the canopy and the nose solid and will paint them as I did on other models.
