I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

rayl...Maybe this will clarify the dashboard. A trip to a craft store for jewelry rings and rubber “O” rings for a bezel, instrument graphics, and nail polish to build up a lens.

rayl....this photo. I made one special for you.

A HA! One picture ........ Are those the J-Tech instrument faces or DIY?
John M Oshust27-Jan-15 15:02
Me not knowing. rayl, I am not a model building expert like most here. I build these planes , not out of love of aviation, but as a winter means of sanity. They are instrument faces, that I cut from a sheet, that I printed.

DIY, as in "did it yourself". I hear you, six months into retirement, but I'm still mostly sane. (And winter just got deeper for you.) Did Gumby get a ration of Scotch when he got done shoveling?

Learn something every day. I DIY the gauges. I am retired 17 years. Between the garden and my cabin in warm time, and models in cold time, I have this retirement thing down pat. Only wish I was retired while young... Work when "mature"! I would like to reverse the order of things.. I do not have a LHS nearby. I must rely on the Internet for model building supplies. I do rely upon craft stores for building supplies, hence the instrument gauges 😀 BTW brandy was Gumby's libation yesterday as, it is today!!

As I recall, there are song lyrics saying, "Love, like youth, is wasted on the young". I think you're correct on reversing the order of things. I keep thinking I can do something and then my body says, "No you can't". Thanks for this picture.
