Image Comments John M Oshust 04-Feb-15 17:12 MG belts originally were canvas. Upon discharge the belt would get caught in the prop wash, flail about and cause the gun to jam. The belt chute appears on Aeroplanes prior to the adaptation of a disintegrating metal link belt. I like the chute so Ogre fires canvas belted ammo! JohnG. 04-Feb-15 17:28 Oh yes.
