I'm at the point where lots of dope will be used but the outside temperatures have been over 110 for several days and that is simply nuts to even think about. The only time suitable is the early hours after daylight but when I checked the porch at 6 am this morning there was a baby Rattlesnake, about a foot and a half, there so I have spent the day making the prop. At 3 pm it's 108. |

Be careful, those babies can really make your day go south! |

It's the first one I've seen this summer and believe me, I give them a lot of room! |

Dave, I hate to say this, but it ain't bad, a little Frank's Hot Sauce, grilled it tastes better than gator bites. |

You can have my share of both! |

David, there in an article in today's Arizona Republic about a school teacher who got bit on her thumb trying to shoo a baby rattlesnake out of the school cafeteria. Be careful around them. |

A favorite memory growing up was going to Bartlett Lake with my dad. He would take me to the ranger station where they had a large box with a warning sign: DANGER, BABY RATTLERS! Inside, of course would be several rattles for babies. |
