I used the quick connectors with the straight push rods because it will allow me to center the bell cranks and control stick and level the ailerons. I will also be able to adjust for the fabric covering and hinge spacing once everything is assembled. I agree though that it would be less visible. Working with a larger scale I could have put the quick connects on the bell cranks inside the wings and used your idea at the ailerons. Please sign in to comment on this image.
