Well I got ahead of myself by starting the build. Should have checked the fuselage against the 3-view. Turns out it is too long with the motor I am building for it and the profile is a little off. Not sure what I will do.

I would add a strip of 3/32" to the spine all the way from former (bulkhead) 4 to the tail end of the fuselage. The bottom is good. Then position the frame over the plan with that same bulkhead lined up on the rear wall of the cockpit. Cut off the tail on the rudder line. You should be pretty good there. You did say this is an infill/static build yes?

I think Heywoood called it. You might also cut the formers just above the longeron and remove enough to lift the longeron into line. Now on the other hand, if you hadn't said anything, only you would know. :)

Might just notch in an extra stringer instead of moving the side keel longeron..just leave that in place - cut in a new stringer from former #7 to the nose (former #1) and call that line the side keel. Then when all your infill is done just sand the fuselage profile radius to that stringer..color it red if you want so you remember to sand to it and not the displaced side keel. Sounds like MORE work but it might be practically easier to do?

also: doing it this way means you can just attach the rest of the formers for the starboard half of the fuselage and not have to worry about lining up the side keels - just use the existing notches. Just be sure to mark the notch locations for the extra 'stringer side keel' so they match on both sides before you un-pin this half

also remember to deepen your horizontal stabilizer notch after you slice off the 3/16" from the tail..don't want to have to deal with that after you have it unpinned

OK. Now that we've all had our say, do what you want. A note on the red-The Sharpies bleed. Took many coats of yellow on the P6 wings to cover.

Yes this is a static build. Thanks for all the input it is good to have options. I now have to decide what to do with my abilities/limitations. Apparently the kit has no options for a cockpit so I need to figure that out before I go much further.

Twenty feet rule, no problemo.
