Don,Question: You use red pen to mark how far to sand, right? If so, have you ever had problems with the red bleeding through your paint?
Don C10-Mar-20 12:03
It's a red Sharpie. I definitely bleeds a bit with the dope at the beginning, but I haven't noticed a problem with the paint. It doesn't bleed with the gray automotive filler primer (but dope does soften the gray primer) and the acrylic doesn't seem to bother it. There's probably a better red pen to use. That's just what I have on hand.

I'm playing catch up here, don. is this an offspring of the dc series? looks like you built it with ease.

The Basler Corp., in Oshkosh, modifies the DC-3, by adding 5 feet to the fuselage, changing to turbo props, modifying the wing and in general beefing it up. It's the plans from Guillow's and a couple of others I found on line combined.
