Turn of events. Decided to go with DD's sugesstion on spray. I sparyed with the primer I used on the Mig. Went to H Depot and purchased Brilliant metal spray. Tested the coloe first then made the leap. It is a sort of flat sliver grey. I can live wi

DD, I was hoping you were going to say that. I thought I give H Depot a shot and got lucky. With this behind me I can think cowl, spinner and prop.Rustoleum brillant metalic...nailed it!

Johnny, that looks absolutely tremendo. Be very careful, my T-28 was painted with Rust-O-leum brilliant metallic chrome enamel, left to dry 48 hours undisturbed, and soon as I touched it to take it off the hanging string in my garage, BAM... fingerprints. Two packets of kleenex later I sanded off the chrome and reverted back to Tamiya acrylics.

poppy...all is well the paint dried perfect and gives the look that I was after....a little luck never hurts a project!
