On this one, the B-25, the Cessna 172, and the Mosquito (that I know of) have plastic wing tips. I did use them on the Cessna because of their shape but I would not use the others simply because they don't look right and they would be a real bitch to blend in with the rest of the wing. It's so much simpler to make wing tips from balsa blocks and they certainly look better. The wing tips on the real Spirit are covered with fabric around what looks like one piece which forms the outline, just like another rib. Please sign in to comment on this image.
