The whole unit is then covered with jap. tissue and clear dope is applied. You can separate the elevator and stabilizer later if you want moveable surfaces. But, I find it is easier to cover as one unit. Hope the drawing is of some help. Those two spots flying in close formation at about 8 o'lock on the drawing are not UFO's.
