OLD A&P | 04-Mar-08 11:52 | A good day to build model airplanes! Greetings from St. Louis. It was 81 degrees here Sunday! |
David Duckett | 04-Mar-08 12:07 | BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!! Pretty!! Any day is a good day to build model airplanes. This is a good day for comfort food. ANY comfort food! If it ever did that here, I would cook a pot of beans and make cornbread. When I was a kid, that's what the old folks did while we played in the snow. They had sense enough to stay inside and eat. |
jgood | 04-Mar-08 13:01 | What happens on the last Thursday of the month, from noon to 3:30? :) |
OLD A&P | 04-Mar-08 14:03 | The good old street cleaner shows up and gives you a ticket if your car is in the way. |
sweetwillie | 04-Mar-08 14:06 | Yikes!! Get out your snow shovel. I don't envy you, that just looks cold and miserable. |
OLD A&P | 04-Mar-08 14:14 | It is. Please some body send me some summer. In St. Louis it is always too something......Too cold...too wet...too hot Etc. |
sweetwillie | 04-Mar-08 18:32 | I know what you mean, I grew up in Southern Illinois, about 80 miles from you, and I got out of there as soon as I could. It gets pretty hot here, this is the high desert, but the winters are about 2 days long, I can handle that. I live in Del Rio, Texas, right on the Mexican border and about 5 miles from the "World's premium bass lake", Lake Amistad; as what was written in Bassmaster Magazine, after they had their first bass tournament here 4 years ago, It's been a 'boom town' every since. |
