After laying all the sectors out, I made the cylinder bases by slicing them off on my lathe after using the drum sander to match the radius of tht crankcase. LASTWOODSMAN 28-Nov-16 22:14 Hey rayl - I bought 14 plans from John Jacox @ Cleveland including the Loening C-2C, plus I have 30 free plans printed out from Outerzone, plus 30 kits on the wall still to build (I have only built 20 kits so far). I've gone way overboard! I'm doomed! But I really do like looking at the old hand drawn plans with such great details, and with their perfect Gothic block lettering handwriting, when a draughtsman's penmanship was a feat of artistic wizardry all unto itself. And now I have a digital camera .... I'm going to "chicken out" and just watch you build your Loening so I know how to build one! rayl 28-Nov-16 23:22 Richard: I started out drafting for a local Mfg plant, before 'Nam changed my plans, so I too can really appreciate the finesse of a old-school drawing.
