Image Comments LASTWOODSMAN 07-Jul-17 09:51 George "Bud" Gere Jr. (designer of the Gere Sport plane) died when he slipped while trying to dislodge a frozen sled runner while testing out a newly built iceboat on White Bear Lake on Jan 18, 1931, and fell into the spinning propeller and died of his injuries.
