Lots and lots of layers, thinned to 1:2 (dope to water) and dried with a hair drier between layers. I like the thinned dope much better even though you have to apply more layers. The thicker concentration tends to "puddle" in the wrinkles and when it dries, leaves rings of thicker dope behind. Since this stuff doesn't dissolve like the nitrite dopes do with each new layer, you're stuck with the finish. Of course, your mileage may vary! Please sign in to comment on this image.
