| Okay
this Monday I,ll go to the hobby Shop and buy some soft pine blocks I been wanting to build a Martin PBM Mariner Flyingboat. It will make a fine addition to my Martin Mars. My Method of construction of a solid model is ti use a band saw and cut out the profile of the fuselodge and mark the center line and mark off the former lines and cut out the templates and start carving useing your templates as yopu carve do both sides at a time. Wings are done same way carve to airfoil shape useing rib pattern templates, not difficult |

| I'm sure I speak for everyone here, that we'd like to see some build photos. If you're shaping blocks into planes, I'd like to understand your process better, if possible! Thanx for the phots so far! |

| Thanks you Dear Sir, for your comment most of my builds are very unusual compared to the rest of the gang, to say the least you fellas here on this forum do very excelent work the best I seen in all the forums I visited and shared my collection with I am 71 years old OUCHHHHHHHHHhhh I am still learning i am learning a great deal off this forum |

| Thank you. I used solid soft pine blocks, useing templates and jigs the model was carved i made a lot of saw dust out of this bird the scale is 1/32. 34 inch winmg span. i made the wheels from laminated cardboard sealed with areo gloss dope. 6 coats od sand and sealer, 5 coats of gray primer. and the plane was airbrushed. |
