Thanks Pauli. I just wish I had more time to work on it.
An hour a day lately and it seems to take for ever. |

So close to being done. Cover underside of wings, paint leading edges, add landing gear and some guns and some graphics. I just hope I can finish it for the October model show. |

The pics do not really show how big this model is. It`s friggin amazing. You have got to build it!. It`s beautiful! |

I`m probly missing about 100 thousand rivets and several more panels but I had to stop somewhere. On my B-17 I will ad a few more. I`m just learning the process. It is a very nice effect I will say. :) |

If you ever see a Liberator in person, you'll appreciate all these rivets even more! |

That is right Pauli.Based on the pounce wheel technique, ou can make your own tool using any small toothed wheel/ gear etc. There are some nice examples on the net. |

So then do you run the wheel on the backside of the cardstock to pop out a rivet for the surface side? |
Mr. Willson, Comment for image # 26976 | 07 Aug 12 23:42 |
They were done with a sewers, I beleive it is called a pounce wheel. It looks like a small circular saw blade
attached to a handle. |

Those rivets look amazing Mr. Wilson. How'd you do them? |
