I see that DD. I find it odd though that they don't have any images of what kind of shape the kit box is in or its contents. |

Someone's using your photos, and mine, to try to sell this kit on ebay! |

Note the props in this photo: He made them "freewheel" and the wind is turning them... |

I believe a vintage Strombecker B-29 kit sells for several hundred $$ on E-Bay and Amazon. |

The early one reminds me of my first B-29, a Strombecker kit. solid pine. |

On the left, myself as a small boy in the 1940's displaying my first B-29 (a "Cleveland" kit). On the right, here I am today, almost 65+ years later with my second B-29. This one, a rare Guillows Series 2000. Bigger boy, bigger toy...my how time flies! |

A reprint of an old snapshot taken in the mid 1940's with the first B-29 I built. This was a stick and tissue construction with solid balsa engines. I believe it was a "Cleveland" kit. In those days, most of the model airplanes I built were "Comet" kits. |

Spotless, mint Dr1. Looks as if it was a real one, fresh from Fokker Flugzeugwerke GmbH at Schwerin in 1917.
Terrific job ! ! ! |

...and he's promised to send me lots more pictures of his completed models. I'll add them to his virtual hanger as soon as I scan them.
In the meantime, I have to teach him how to login to his account and comment, so that he can communicate directly with all of you. :-) |

Another one of my Dad's recent builds...a Guillows Series 200 Fokker DR-1 Triplane. After seeing his B29 displayed on the "Virtual Aerodrome", he is filled with a new excitment for the site. He just loves reading your coments and sharing his finished models with everyone. |

Here's another of the many models my Dad has recently completed. Sharing his pictures with the rest of the builders here at the "Virtual Aerodrome" has given him much enjoyment. |

Very nice! What type of paint was used; the finish is really consistent. |
