Yes. At least I have the plans. It was my Uncle's basic trainer. These are going to his 3 kids.

it looks terrific Don - I'm a huge fan of all the WWII trainer aircraft. As you know there were a ton of them and they are terribly under represented in scale modeling. And did you say you have a Vultee Vibrator on deck?

Decals came Monday. They're all on, so the windscreens won't get broken off any more.

Windscreens went well.

Callie is apparently swamped, while waiting I did the canvas cover for the tail wheel and some other piddly stuff.

Kenm thanks. I'll look into that. I remember seeing that, but couldn't find your hangar to check. We have no LHS, so everything has to be online. The diameter of the washer is about 3/8". It's for copper rivets, hence the small center hole.

You might try hex rod from Plastruct it comes in various sizes. I used the .060"/1mm for the crankcase of my P-26. For comparison the crankcase was about the diameter of a penny.

Brian, here is your pinhead idea. I think it worked, but my eyes are still trying to recover.
Don C, Comment for image # 4281614 Nov 20 16:16
Good idea, Brian. I'll give it a try.
BriandKilby, Comment for image # 4281614 Nov 20 12:33
how about the old pin heads for the bolt heads?
Don C, Comment for image # 4281614 Nov 20 10:22
It's a wood prop from Ebay. I took about a half inch off each blade and reshaped it. couldn't find anything for the bolt heads though. You can cut the blades off and reshape them for a 3 or 4 blade prop too.
