Initial fitting of the wings seem to indicate that they are very close to the "Real Thing". The fillets do not appear. I may widen the wing root a tad. The trailing edge of the Mig almost extends to the rear of the canopy. Computers, great resource. P

Sand paper made in Brazil 220 grit me thinks. If you want a real smooth finish on wood use "rotten stone"!

Elmer's wood workers filler, then my own filler of Elmer's and talc, lavender talc, as I like the aroma!

Boris, AKA Niki, needs aid to get off the tail. I must find another "Boris". He has worked so hard and appeared in so many pictures that his "Joints are burnt out!" He really cannot stand W?O assistance!

The hinges were made from music wire and Al roof flashing....scaps from the fuselage forward skin.

We ar happy woth the way the fuselage becomes part of the rudder. Like poppy says....."when things work well, just sit back and admire it a bit!" With me I will probably drop the Mig tomorrow and destroy all this work!
