Keeps'em "afloat". |

I love the detail in the old planes...I guess the wing construction is a necessary evil:) |

Yet you're building biplanes and triplanes? Methinks the lady doth protest too much.:-) |

Thanks... I would rather be making the drapes for the cockpit, muffler bearing switches, engines, or guns;) |

Ditto TJH comment! |

For a guy who hates building wings, you certainly do great work on them! |

Cat has gone to heaven about 3 years back. After "winging it", I may not have enough energy left to "pop" a fuse:) |

These sucker are huge. Strap them to the back of your cat...launch it out of the attic window and see if it flies... :-) |

Today, another major step towards completion of the airfoils, a term that I prefer as I HATE BUILDING WINGS!!! |

These are big enough to be the wings of an Angel. Nicely done!!! |

Progress on Nunzio's air foils. |

I used music wire for my torque rods. If the model was for flight, mass could be conserved through the use of graphite rods or tube. |

Nuzio’s ailerons are torque activated. Rods from the joystick in the cockpit extend through the fuselage walls to a bell crank located in the upper wing. The crank rotates and twists the metal rod, moving the aileron up or down. The model’s aileron system is very similar in design and operation as in the real Balilla. |

The floor is looking good. The garage will be nice. |

A brief hiatus is required while I supervise the construction of a new garage. The garage replaces the building destroyed by “Sandy”. However, I did receive this necessary reference tidbit today. While watching the Amish elves construct the new garage, I have time to ponder this reference source. |

Short ribs without the special sauce. Manzano sent me a prototype kit. It has errors and was short short ribs. I had to cut 12 by hand. |
