![](/user_aircraft_images/25086.jpg) Even from the rear the looking is becoming a Bf 110G. |

![](/user_aircraft_images/25085.jpg) The component fit is looking pretty good. Alot of work went into the wings and engines fit. |

![](/user_aircraft_images/25084.jpg) Some taping together the components for fit and looks. |

Brian, there is a 1/32 Bf 110E plastic kit available from Dragon. I have used some parts for comparison especially the tail area and cockpit. I built plastic for years and have great respect for their accuracy, but I have become a "born again" balsa, stick and paper builder. |

that's a model i would really like to do. i have a 1/48 plastic. |

Yes, 1/32 scale. I usually like 1/24, but it is too big for twin engine a/c, besides there is a lot of drawings, decals, etc., available in 1/32 scale in the plasic industry. |

what scale is it going to be jerry? 1/32? it's starting to take shape! |

Kudos on tackling a scratch-build like this! Excellent work. Look forward to seeing the whole process. |

Fairly quickly I gave up using patterns from the 110E flying model plans and began relying on the Kagero drawings for patterns. This has been quite a learning process, and just might allow me to build aircraft so long as I have a good set of scale drawings. |

![](/user_aircraft_images/25055.jpg) The bulbous "G" spinners took some work. |

![](/user_aircraft_images/25054.jpg) One of these days it may start looking like a Bf 110G-2. It has been a harrowing experience building without porper plans, mainliy working from the Kagero 1/32 scale drawing which are highly detailed and beautifully done. |

![](/user_aircraft_images/25053.jpg) The tauk feathers were fashioned with solid balsa and plenty of sealer. |

![](/user_aircraft_images/25051.jpg) I decided to build the engine nacelles right on the wing. |
jerry campbell, Image # 25050 | 13 Feb 12 19:34 |
![](/user_aircraft_images/25050.jpg) Even in 1/32 scale the 110 has quite a wingspan. |
jerry campbell, Image # 25049 | 13 Feb 12 19:31 |
![](/user_aircraft_images/25049.jpg) The fuselage is comimg along and should start working on the cockpit. Certainly looks like there is plenty of room. |
jerry campbell, Image # 24935 | 05 Feb 12 12:49 |
![](/user_aircraft_images/24935.jpg) Every component had to be modified slightly to make it scale and to make it fit. |

![](/user_aircraft_images/24929.jpg) The various pieces such as wing ribs cut from the flying model plans had to be modified a bit when built over the extremely well done Kagero 1/32 scale drawings. |
