Tiger Moth G-APMX is now back on wall - in flying attitude. Notice the safety harness's blowing back in the slip-stream! |

I've always liked the Super Aero 45. It's just a proper looking airplane. |

...there is quite a lot about this incident on the net - look for " Catalina crash - Saudi Arabia. |

I think that our PBY (being built on here) would look good in that white n blue scheme. |

....you can see the remains of that PBY on Google Earth at the co-ordinates of 28 degrees 5'26 26N - 34 degrees 36'30 E. |

The PBY was beautiful and was on it's way to a world tour - Sadly it crashed in Saudi Arabia - the family on board were attacked by armed gunmen, but were rescued and brought to safety by the a team from the USA! |

Looking really good, Dad! |

Ouch! Sorry to see that. Happened many years ago to my B-17 a couple of days after completion (2 1/2 years of building) |

Thank you Kemm - you are too kind. DD has a very precise and delicate touch in his building, I do not have his skill but I enjoy a rather rough n ready approach. All to his own! |

You opined earlier that you did not think this was up to DD standards and I would disagree. Great job.

It looks little damaged, but there are quite a few broken parts in the fuselarge and some wing-ribs too. Will need to get "inside" the structure to repair! Not a 5-min job! |

My Tiger Moth model was badly damaged yesterday! It crashed from it's hanging place in my garage. Many broken parts. Still I did intend to replace the rubberised rigging "wires"! This will make me do that! :-) |
