I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Looking really good, Dad!

Ouch! Sorry to see that. Happened many years ago to my B-17 a couple of days after completion (2 1/2 years of building)

Thank you Kemm - you are too kind. DD has a very precise and delicate touch in his building, I do not have his skill but I enjoy a rather rough n ready approach. All to his own!

You opined earlier that you did not think this was up to DD standards and I would disagree. Great job.

It looks little damaged, but there are quite a few broken parts in the fuselarge and some wing-ribs too. Will need to get "inside" the structure to repair! Not a 5-min job!

My Tiger Moth model was badly damaged yesterday! It crashed from it's hanging place in my garage. Many broken parts. Still I did intend to replace the rubberised rigging "wires"! This will make me do that! :-)

Thanks Don - just about to order hinges!
Don C, Comment for image # 4327126 Jun 21 10:02
Coming together well. Did you ger the door hinged?

what a great project this is - and you're making good headway with it Bob. It's really shaping up nicely - pun intended

The green paint was put on to high-light the areas that still need filling and or leveling. I have bought some 1/16" clear plastic, and I hope to make that curved screen sometime soon.

I have to say that this build is not a DD beauty - but I'm enjoying the hit &miss method that I'm taking. The one big thing that has come out of this project is that there are no "true" plans of the Q6 Petrel to be found on the internet! Every one that I found differed from each other, and if you compare them to photographs of the real thing you find that a huge amount of guesswork has been done. Using the small scale plan that I found (back in the 60's in the UK) has given me some problems too when I look at the real Q6 pics that are public domain.

It's very "Heath Robinson" but I hope that it will look OK when filled, rubbed down, covered and finally painted.

Is coming along well. Looks good

We're only running 65.
