I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Yes, sir! :) Although it is an exact match to the color chip I found on the net.

A bit more yellow and then some white to tone it down......:-)

Thanks David. I looked all over for a spray - except on line. No luck. I want to try finishing the cockpits before covering. I can slip it all in from the bottom. It should be easier than trying to get it through those little openings.

Zinc Chromate Green, and Yellow, were sprayed on parts as a protective coating and was not paint which is why it has an uneven mottled look. Originally an oil paint, the color has a tendency to fade.

Use Sap Green Permanent, yellow, and white.
Don C, Image # 4270926 Sep 20 17:28

I think my zinc chromate is a little off.

I've seen that here, but never been brave enough to try it.

Thanks and Brian, I did buy some 3ply 1/32 or /164 birch plywoood, but decided to go with 1/32 balsa.

I like your method and the plane. Actually 3 1/2 ozs per gallon would be 5/8 ozs per quart. :-) Sorry my OCD got the best of me.
Don C, Comment for image # 4268716 Sep 20 17:21
Yes. This is not mine though, but it matches the description of the plywood covering.

My very scientific method of removing the warp. Seems to be working. I'll let it sit overnight.
