Glad that the surgery is behind you, and that you had it taken care of in time. You play an important part in the lives of us retired guys! |

Hi Dave, I chose the radiology because the nurses were better looking. I mean they were hot! I am about 98% and the side effects are about over. You keep a good attitude, watch the diet and all will be well. When I went for the dignosis and came home I broke the news to my wife. I told her that the good news was I found a Polish Deli. Take care. A little sawdust in your diet helps too. |

Glad to hear you're ok and back home. Think of the progress you can make this week without those pesky trips to the head. |

Glad everything worked out okay, DD. Thinking about you a lot. One of my older brothers was diagnosed with "C" and had surgery also. Very trying times for the family. Agree that the blood work/checkup should be a part of "scheduled" male maintenance. Recoup, and another gazillion masterpiece models should be in order. |

Thanks to you all. I'm finally back home and have survived the surgery. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer awhile back and there are several treatment options so I chose to have the prostate gland removed which should end the problem. Course, it ends a couple of other things, as well, but that's the way it goes. :-) The good news is that scans did not detect any spread of the disease. I go back next Thursday for removal of the staples and catheter. Once again, thanks for all the good wishes. Make sure you get yearly checkups. |
