You want to see a old 74 yr old gal in a Tee shirt??? Oh you are a glutton for punishment, and might give you nightmares. |

I recall reading an article that this one was repainted into a crappy brown.
Hopefully I am wrong, because it would have been a major *$#%@ |

THere's one at the Pima Air Museum south of Tucson in a hanger and painted with the dragon. I don't know if the lady is in or not. In person a B 24 has more rivets than a bridge. |

Like this one better? |

Well, at least taking off. |

Some eye candy. I hope James doesn't object to photos of real planes. |

The man who flew it on the last flight blew a cylinder as he was passing over the flightline there to honor Dolittle's Raiders but he was able to land without further incident. He's a senior Colonel in my vets group and the B 29 bears the number of the one he flew and is dedicated to him....in spite of the fact that he's a conservative Republican. Colonel Gerry Clayton, google LS 85 and see what you get. Quite a story. |

What a beautiful aircraft. Can't believe the tricycle landing gear supported this bomber. I would think it took a little more than 3 ounces of clay to get it off its' ass. |

Have no thought that far ahead yet. I find the Guillows too flimsy to survive a crash other than from a rubber band flight, so I have to think about that one. |

Can't wait to see another PBY on here Xanadu. Will this one be electric r/c? |
Xanadu, Comment for image # 1337 | 04 Nov 06 19:35 |
I a PBY on order, shipped out on Friday. Thanks anyways. |

Sorry, that was several years ago. Guillows is very good at providing extra parts and decals and I'm sure they would sell you a set of the plans. I do have the plans for the PBY if you want those. |

Still have the plans for the Liberator, and would you be willing to part with them?
Drop me an e-mail at dbarton@mts.net |
