I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

FYI it is easy to scale plans up or down thru the computer. Overall dimensions hold true. The dimensions of all structural wood also changes. Sometimes you have to just get "Close" to the dimensional lumbar.

The first roof former must be removed to accomodate the wing...oops!

This section hopefully will mount on the fuse, then I can fit the cockpit roof and fuselage roof.

The "Tin Goose" is getting feathers!

Even after reducing the plan from 1/12 to 1/24 the Tin Goose is going to be a nice sized bird!

Thank you James. That is some plane. Great photos to reference and some great ideas.

Looks like a good start John. Here is the thread I remember seeing from another Trimotor build. I have some video of Kermit Weeks flying his (full size) Tri-Motor from a few years back too if you're interested.

THe Goose may get passenger seats, if I can construct the proper scale.

Tin Goose nose begins to take shape. I am working only from plans, no instructions as to procedure....I am "winging it" so to speak!

Right here on VA...this is my 5th attempt at building a wood plane.

You are obviously an accomplished craftsman. May I ask where you honed your skills?

Likewise with my Fokker D.VIII!

Initially the mig looked like a submarine, The Barrel, a whale, and the "Tin Goose"....a dog sled!!!

As a neophyte to this hobby, I have never had the opportunity to build a fuse W/O formers. This is more like the real bird!

Another journey into peace and solitude begins with 6 W1A wing thingies! A long road of slicing and dicing ahead.

I shall have to construct three rasials. Fortunately there are many variants to choose from both engine and props.
John M Oshust, Image # 553531 Dec 07 11:04

Even with the reduction the span barely fits my board...38 inches!

Thanks James I will set the records straight. I reduced the original plan from 1/12 to 1/24 scale.
