The wing normally fastens to the fuselage using 2 dowels glued horizontally in the center section leading edge to match holes drilled in fuselage former and with 2 nylon screws vertically thru the bottom rear center section into the fuselage.

Me thinks I need to buy more clamps as this adventure has just begun. The 25 in horizontal Stab.

I would suggest an Air Force version of a GI Joe to assist in this build.

Oops... I thought this was DD's. If it can it will only get better. Sweet job on the Mig David.

Correct...the plans must be rewritten. The wing has to be built in three sections. 5 ft will not fit a 4 ft table. The saddle and two wings...attached when completed. The whole wing must screw, bolt, or somehow fasten to the fuse for transport.

DD...You are correct. I dwnloaded the new instructions. Not the same bird. At least I have some instructions. The wood is so good, very workable. She will become a plane!

Man your stabilizer is as long as the wing on my Tigercat...you gonna have to raise the ceiling or cut the legs off your bench in order to finish off your "Whistling Death"!

The 25 inch horizontal stab. comes together....geeze...it could be a WING!

DD...Scan the plan, copy it, send it hither, and I will gladly arm the beast. I have inherited a lumbar yard worth of balsa suitable to the task. All I need is a means to scale them....they worked on JGJ Stuka!

Obviously, that is Uncle Carlo at your side....so how can you go wrong having that as support.
John M Oshust, Image # 774313 Apr 08 14:57

Come on DD you make me re-wheel for a better product....you gotta make some guns!

I may use the formed radial to cast a radial, but this is way down the road.

At 1;30 PM April 13 the adventure begins. Parts is parts!!! Following the directions the horizon stab is first..25 inch span. Organizing and finding the components. The old balsa is fine...so far! "Lettuce" see how long this journey will take.

Shame on you, John, for not fabricating these yourself lol

Goody box...LG wheels, tail wheel, cockpit kit, engine kit, hinges, bearings. This will save some labor.

I'm looking forward to this one. I have the P-39 and P-51B Top Flite kits. I may need a bigger house for them.

That was James's doing. When I finish I hope it is platinum!
