I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Nuzio’s ailerons are torque activated. Rods from the joystick in the cockpit extend through the fuselage walls to a bell crank located in the upper wing. The crank rotates and twists the metal rod, moving the aileron up or down. The model’s aileron system is very similar in design and operation as in the real Balilla.

The floor is looking good. The garage will be nice.

A brief hiatus is required while I supervise the construction of a new garage. The garage replaces the building destroyed by “Sandy”. However, I did receive this necessary reference tidbit today. While watching the Amish elves construct the new garage, I have time to ponder this reference source.

Short ribs without the special sauce. Manzano sent me a prototype kit. It has errors and was short short ribs. I had to cut 12 by hand.

Holy $#*!, that is a lot of ribs in a short time!

After all of these components, the task is at best "tolerable"! Note the ailerons are waiting in the "Wings"!!!

"Growing fond of wing construction"....are getting kinky on us???

For those of you that like wing construction, this is a model for you. Now that the process is at this juncture, I am now growing fond of wing fabrication.

98 ribs = 1 complete wing. Super!

Kind of reminds me of looking into a piano. Very meticulous work.

And today we have two. If I held these to after fuselage construction, I would never had the ambition to build these.

Holy splinters O Man...you've got enough wood there to decimate all the trees in NJ!!!

About 60 pieces in each bottom foil. I have no idea about the upper wing total. Makes me want to build a plastic Revell model with 75 pieces...like those I built when I was a kidling.

Another one of those wingie-thingies! Just had 3 on my last build...

yikes!
John M Oshust, Image # 2878407 Mar 13 13:34

Back at it again. I usually do the wings last but due to their complexity, this time, they go first.

Ayyy Eiii Kemosabe - a pair of Nunzios it is.
John M Oshust, Image # 2870424 Feb 13 16:15

I am still waiting for my rough cut prop blanks. I would like to shape a prop and complete Jennifer. I cannot start the Ansaldo Balilla AKA "Nunzio" until James posts a listing of it on our build list. I did knock out a pair of wheels for Nunzio this day. THANK YOU James!
