I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Yes sir, my learned friend, 33.5 hrs, in 1927...this man had large orbs!

Fantastic!! I guess this was as comfortable as anything could be for 33hrs. Super details.

I have watched J. Stewart's "Spirit of St Louis" a dozen times. He is one of my favorite actors. Those of you familiar with this film, could provide direction. How do I fabricate a fly in the pit for the journey?

Wow....John this is so cool. You could always paint it to look like wicker.
John M Oshust, Comment for image # 463310 Oct 07 19:34
moostang....Real wicker is softer on the can....I know some sandwiches were ham!

Thankyou...any suggestions as to how to make a "fly" for the first leg of the journey?

A couple of sandwiches, fruit and water for the ride also. Maybe a little Preparation "H" too. Looking good John.

"Lucky Lindy's" seat.

I think "Slim" has enough to fly across the "pond!"
John M Oshust, Image # 463110 Oct 07 17:55

Not exactly wicker but the seat will do. Electric compass installed.
John M Oshust, Image # 463010 Oct 07 17:54

"Slim's" cockpit almost complete.

After learning about cutting former notches my Dremel solution.

The kit balsa like rice cakes. Making the wood parts myself, live and learn, good plans, crap wood!

The new adventure. I ordered the kit direct from Guillows, paid a tad more, hoped for better balsa!
