How R4A fits |

I'll finish sheeting the top out to the break but will not add any more wood to the outer panels. It's raining and the lilac bush just in front of the brick column is showing its first flowers. |

I've added some extra stringers to the outer panels for strength and ease of covering. |

The bottom has been fully sheeted and filled out to the break (gull). |

The top sheeting and two 1/16" stringers have been glued in place. This is as far as the plans go with the bottom wing. |

After bending, the landing gear wire is "lashed" to the plywood mount using nylon thread and then given a coat of medium CA. I enlarged the laser cut holes with a T pin. The bottom sheeting is then glued in place. |

You can see why it's named Dragon, as in Dragonfly. |

The landing gear must be installed before the sheeting can be and that's what the nacelles fit on. |

This Dumas kit looks like a real treat to build. Blaze a trail. Nice job. |

I don't know how but I've missed this whole build! I've a hard enough time deciding what to build next (or finish!)let alone finding ANY time to do it (although I did squeeze in a little glider for Jimmy's B-Day present). Real jobs suck. This is beautiful! Keep the 105 at cruising altitude, the awaited legs are making progress. Phil |

The leading edge is two pieces of 3/32" x 3/8" glued one at a time to the front of the ribs. |

The laser cut pieces make the top wing assembly simple and accurate. |
