Because the Shinden will be hanging from the ceiling I decided not to bother with a cockpit also research was very difficult to find.

Patterns for the wing to fuselage filets were not supplied and it took some cutting, fitting, and trimming to get them in position and then doped. I painted the interior of the air intakes black to provide depth.

Does anyone know what is going on with Ambroid? I've not been able to get ambroid for some time and the local Hobby Town says it's been six months since he has been able to get it. Penn Valley shows it as out of stock.

A trial fit of the plastic strip to see if it is right, I won't super glue it down until the wing is fitted, but before the the fuselage is papered.

Shinden The Kyushu J7W1 Shinden (Magnificent Lightning) was one of those beautifully shaped exotic aircraft developed in the closing days of World War Two. Developed by the Imperial Navy in response to the B-29 raids on Japan, it reached prototype stage with two machines being produced with one logging some 35 to 40 minutes flying time. A Jet powered version was on the drawing boards.
