Thanks for the kind words. I'm with you OA&P I am a big fan of the DC-3, we are lucky here in Sydney as there are regular joy flights flown on the weekends in the type, so they are not an unfamilar sight. |

Hi Poppy, I glue the styrene down with thin cyano. You need to work quickly and carefully. Even pressure on the surface is a must otherwise you can get buckling and bubbling from the heat given off when the CA cures. I have yet to master this but each kit gets a little better than the last. |

Perfect!! This is gonna be a real museum model! What do you use to adhere the sheet styrene to wood and not craze the plastic? |

Engines are completed, the windows are next then on to the landing gear. |

The only decal left to apply is the tail logo, this will be added when the rudder is installed. |

I made the decals on my computer and printed them out on clear decal film. So far so good. |

Thank you for your comments, OA&P you have nothing to be envious about, your Ozark DC3 looks just brilliant!! |

OA&P, I am not sure if this is correct or not, I do not have any great photo's to compare this against. The bird I have modelled only has seven on each side. |

That's going to be a beauty, Rod. |

RodN Did Ansett DCs really have eight cabin windows on the left side, or is the Graeme picture wrong ? |

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! This is looking just super! I`m hoping my Ozark DC3 looks half this good. Great job. I am really impressed, and I must admit,a little envious. This is truly outstanding work. |
