| Thanks for the thumbs up John. It was either this, or Richard Bong's 'Marge'. I visited his airplane at the Veterans Historical Center in Superior, WI. That is a very cool WW II avaiation museum. |

I couldn't find any photos of a P-38L with the shark heads painted on them. (I only found them painted on earlier pre-L model variants) Probably because they stopped painting them all together. So my L model will not be 100% accurate, but I think they look pretty mean. >:-) What do ya think guys? |
