Flying the DC-7 http://marcbrecy.perso.neuf.fr/DC7.html Very neat video. Towards the end as the DC-7 is brought in for a landing, watch the pilot “working that yoke”…

THe top halves are all in place and filler has been added to the nacelle/wing junction. |

1/16" stock, cut across the grain, is glued inside the outline of the nacelle to provide a base for the filler. You can see how much has been sanded away to get the plastic piece to fit. |

I added 3/16" stock to both sides of the side keel as that's where the two plastic halves meet. Guess I'll add the other piece, too. |

Its actually called "canopy glue". White, dries clear. |
BriandKilby, Comment for image # 26372 | 16 May 12 17:27 |
i use formula 560 or clear parts cement by testors which is made for canopies. |

If you use CA, be sure and seal the clear plastic with Future floor polish first, otherwise it may fog. There is also a clear windshield adhesive that dries clear and won't fog. I don't remember the name right now. I'll have to check my stash. A well stocked hobby store should carry it. |
