I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

Awesome work! Is this a display or will you fly it?

Test fitting the stab/elevator. Dope then filler prior to trim tape application for cloth covered texture. Then dope, tissue.... see you again in four months.

3/8" solid balsa cut to shape then carved and sanded.

Laminated wing tips to be cut and top skins drying. Sandbags contoured the shape and held Titebond glue for curing process.

Super!

More accurate wheel wells begin to take shape. The TF Spit is getting a little too large for inside building. After seeing so many great builds on the site, it's nice to get back to a Guillows build.

Now the queen knows why I save all balsa scraps.

Monday to Friday, I'm the boss. Weekends...... well, thank God for the VA and Silver Bullets. Keep posting boys, I'm sort of on hold.

Nope, don't think any sags will occur with all this timber. Super!

Vito?? Should be GORDO!!!! He looks like Babycat's Father.

At 17.5 lbs, I wish he'd eat balsa, he could use a ltwt. meal or two. Wingspan w/o tips is 29"+/-, so after a few more laps, he'll have a meal and a nap.

Lots of lumber...nice work...sags, I think, are impossible.

Moos...Vito could be my Misty's brother. Watch them sometimes they get a desire to eat Balsa!
moostang51, Image # 732023 Mar 08 18:10

Wing tips removed for solid balsa later. Additional stringers should allow for 1/32" balsa to curve w/o too much sagging in between.

"Vito the fatcat sentry provides security for the other fatcat.
