Were you in the pilot's seat or as a crewmember?
Abby Marie, Comment for image # 789721 Apr 08 09:41
No, I did not fly in the 17 at the local airport, In 1953 I did fly in a 17 from Wash. DC, to Tulsa Ok. A noisey flight.
sweetwillie, Comment for image # 789720 Apr 08 23:01
Yes I did. What about it? Did you fly in it?
Abby Marie, Image # 790320 Apr 08 20:28

You're a remarkable woman, Abby! You don't find many women who are "Wing Nuts".

Hey Abby. There is a free peanut scale plan here. Not a kit, but it should help...
Abby Marie, Comment for image # 780918 Apr 08 10:59
Does anyone know if there is a balsa model kit of the Chance Vought V-173 "Flying Pancake"? Or would that be a scratch build plane?
Abby Marie, Comment for image # 782417 Apr 08 07:07
It's a YC-125,only 15 built, 14 were transfered to Shepard AFB, after it was found they tended to flip over on thier backs taking off. Used to train A&E Mech.

Lindberg Models had a plastic kit in the 50's.

David, a PDF of the Comet F-94 plan can be found at: http://academodel.nsunet.ru/plans/Comet/ The plans are listed alphabetically. The Lockheed F-94 is about 2/3s down the list.

You must fly a new version. My only shake was in a DC-3... unless you count Russian aircraft!
