I think all is working again now. Please leave a comment on a photo somewhere if something you need is not working still.

About 3 weeks in, so far... It's silkspan, and walmart one dollar rattle cans, and some fuel proofer up front... Texas Flag scheme... Waldo, and his bro Weirdo are standing by to board the plane... More pics soon...

Bill this is a fine looking machine. Missing parts, unclear instructions? Don't make me laugh, improvise and overcome! By the way, building an EZ-built is like a post graduate school course. After that, they are all EZ!

This thing is really alot lighter than it looks, and I have an .09 in stocks... I'll try it, and if it won't pull her around the circle, we'll look into more horsepower...

Is she calling it the "spruce goose" Bill?
BillParker, Image # 2733025 Sep 12 22:18

Paint? Teetering between a nice black on white, with pinstriping tape... Or a patriotic theme... Okay so, is the gray paint primer? Is it the beginnning of another cammo scheme? Is it the primer coat for a glossy paint job? (keep in mind, that the plane is already painted, and drying waiting final assembly, and more photos...)

First full mock-up... A rolling chassis... Now we send all the parts to the chromer... *LOL*... Actually now it's time for the silkspan...

Meet "The Great Waldo Peeper..." It's on the plan. I couldn't have made that up...

Got them tires for a dollar. They're lighter than a set of Guillow's 1000 series tires... All foam... Who'd a thunk it? That's real live SPRUCE... Never had a plane with real spruce before... You'll never guess what my wife is calling this one...

Yes Virginia, that's 1/4 inch square balsa... Love it! An Easy Built Model in small balsa would take 4 days to glue up the fuse cross members. Got this cranked out in 12 hours... Clamps is kewl...

Okay so I win an auction for this thing a year ago, sold and bought as being "complete and ready for construction," (destruction?) and when it gets here, it's a box af sticks, scraps, and some rolled plans. Not complete, at all, and no assembly insructions what-so-ever... Fortunately, I've been doing the Easy Built madel thing so I ain't scared... But I digress... Broken hearted I stick it up on the top shelf and forget about it. So I managed to build that Piper Cub, with it's laminated tail feathers and wing tips, and the GeeBee has tunred out quite well, so feeling ten foot tall and bullet proff, I haul down the beat up old box. Turns out, that if you don't want to build this thing for R/C, but maybe "roundy round" (that's U-Control for y'all ain't from Texas) maybe the parts are here. Seems that whomever tried to build this thing, and made a hash of it, started with the fuse first, so all the plywood fuse formers are gone. Looks like he was cutting his plywood with a razer knife from the few parts left in the box. I studied the plan for a few days, went down the LHS and got some 1/4" sticks and planks, and got going...
