Beautiful flight and landing. I could never get a rubber powered plane to fly like this! Super.

The Val is trimmed now, after surviving some near collisions with the walls and a few hard landings. Here is a video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1vo9_Xg7SI

Your ZERO brought me to investigate your Hanger for first time. Very interesting assortment of flying models. Great work and accompanying build thread pics.

In the nose is a Gizmo-Geezerr prop assembly http://www.gizmogeezer.com/pfw.htm This devices allows for easy thrust adjustments, via 3 small screws.

The underside shows the built-in left aileron deflection. For low wing war birds like this, this (or a drag flap) is essential to keep the plane from spiralling to the left.

This dive bomber is built for rubber powered flying and came in at a reasonable 71g, without rubber.

I covered the model with domestic green tissue. Before applying the tissue, I chalked the underside with dark gray. This made the green more drab, and more opaque.

This is a Dumas kit 315 Aichi Type 99 "Val". JAMES could you please add this aircraft type. I built the wings with removable outer panels. Here the bottom is tissue covered but not shrunken.
