Nicely done and well engineered. A beautiful model!

The struts have small alluminum tubes at the end that meets the fuselage. The fuselage has L shaped wires that fit into the strut tubes. The top end of the struts have a small piece of R/C hinge material, that fit into slots in the wing.

This 28" wingspan plane came in at 72g. It flies, but, due to lack of dihedral cannot turn enough to fly in a medium size gym. I stll need to test it outdoors.

What beautiful delicate structure.

The outer panels of the wings are removable, with all the struts attached.

Beautiful structure and work. How are the main struts attached?

I covered the plane with Japanese tissue. I joined sections together of different colours, to reduce the amount of paint required.

Note that the kit has all control surfaces movable.

It was a bit of work to get all the struts to allign.

The Vickers machine guns are made with a lamination of tissue and paper, with numerous creases, to make the fins.

Wheels are made from a ring of balsa, wrapped with black tissue.
John Cooper, Image # 618228 Jan 08 20:50

My technique for making training edges is to cut them off a sheet of balsa, before building the wing.

The frame from the nose block is a irregular shape to key it in the correct position
John Cooper, Image # 618028 Jan 08 20:45

The half engine is balsa, with thread used to represent the coolling fins
John Cooper, Image # 617928 Jan 08 20:39

The wing has scale rib spacing, including all the false ribs.

The fuselage frame went together well with excellent parts fit.
