Putting on decals, then connecting the fuselage, wings, and tail.

Hello fellow modelers, maybe you can help me out? I have been trying to get decals from diels without any luck. I tried the diels ordering site, but was unsuccessful.i tried contacting their email, also, without any luck. Any suggestions? Thanks Brian.

Good to see some aeronautical building from you Brian!

I wasn’t that lucky, didn’t get to ride in it.

"go in one" Brian - does that mean you had a flight in one?
BriandKilby, Comment for image # 4471928 Jan 25 15:07
Got to go in one when he was stationed in Dover. The kit is 1/144 scale and the fuselage is 17” long.

That's one BIG ship Brian, I wonder what they "handle" like - does your cousin talk about them much?

Thanks bob, those are some good ideas.

Brian - maybe you could make a Balsa frame foe the cut-out area, then mold the clay to a snug fit? Or maybe just leave the nose-light aspect and hang the model up as is If it was me - I would simply finish the model as is, then hang it for display - the "light" nose would not be a problem then. What a super shape is the F100!

The nose bay is a panel line. Maybe cut out an area where the cockpit would be? What and how would you put it there. I’ve some clay, but how would you secure it?
bobgood, Comment for image # 4471627 Jan 25 14:42
....some weight in the nose! :-) (is there a nose wheel bay?)

Bob, I need to spray krlyon, add panel lines, and finish the gear to the f100. The f100 is a little tail heavy, do you have any recommendations on fixing it?

dark green.
