New home for the F-84. A couple months ago we were visiting Smitty, our contoline mentor from a long time ago. He was looking for a simple model for his grandson to try to interest the lad to models, so I gave Smitty the F-84. |

| Thanks, James. Guillows designed these models primarily as display models. We've had some success as flying them via swing control. |

| Amen to that, Brian. We lived in Houston for 22 yrs. and both my kids and their families are still there. It took us 2 yrs. to get used to the humidity. |

| I was assigned to the Coast Guard Air Station at Ellington Field. It was my first USCG assignment after I had spent a little over 9 years in the Army. I was glad to get it as it was a great unit and it brought me back close to family in the Houston/Galveston area. |
