Today 06-30-14, we received this in an email from Bill. "I had a heart attack recently, and am still recovering. I have to go back to the cardio doc tomorrow, and have another procedure. I'll be fine, and I'm on the mend. As soon as I'm cleared to work outdoors in the heat, you and I will go visit the big planes, ........" I'll keep in touch with him and update his progress. Al

With a bit of dihedral, different nose weight, and better weather; flight improves.

With a few pins for a nose weight the B-29 was capable of flight.

at this point we are anxious for a test flight.

This simple tool made forming the nacelles much easier.

The B-29 is starting to emerge from the balsa.

Thank you, sir. I also appreciate the comment. The next exhibit is a 1/12 scale F-16C. After that, it will be a 1/6 scale LOH, "Loach." All I need is time. Lots of it.

Thank you for for the comment. We built a few of the Guillows shelf models as a youngster as we transitioned from stick and tissue Comet models to controline models. Now in our second childhood we are drawn to the simplicity and enjoyment of these shelf models. We looked through your Predator model build. It should make a very interesting display model exhibit. Impressive model project.
