I like the mig 15 and the t-28 It is pretty good at acros and slow speed flying and landings.

Agree with all of the suggestions given. Also I use a hair dryer to help release the bond of the masking tape.

thanks for the pointers. david, i tried the blue tapes in delicate and blue in multisurface.

Hello Brian, Mr Duckett is quite right in that not all masking tapes are equal. I use green painters tape. It is smoother that other masking tapes. secondly I cut a length of tape and put it on a glass panel to cut my own strips of masking tape. Use a metal straight edge and a new knife blade. Be sure to pull the tape off the model at a 45 degree angle away from the painted edge.

Al is correct but first, what kind of tape are you using?
julinick, Comment for image # 3003305 Nov 13 08:34
Brian, the trick I use is when I apply tape, I would first put on a layer of Model Master Clear acrylic paint around the edges of the tape. Once it's dry, use your colour and "presto", no bleed through. When you apply your masking tape, use the edge of a credit or debit card to push down on the tape to seal it better. I usually use green painters tape.

david (or any body),i have a question. what is the best way to paint with masking tape? when i do it, it either peals the paint off on real sticky tape or seaps through on delicate tape. do you have any ideas? i don't know if you use tape or just free hand.
