Today i made some short test-flights. It seems i have adjust the CG a little bit.

The doors are also faked!

I'm not a flyer, so please pardon what might be a dumb question. The flaps on the wing are drawn on, so do you control the flight strictly with the rudder and elevators? Or did you use a magic brush like the Roadrunner and Coyote cartoons that allow a person (roadrunner) to zip through the tunnel?

I use the powder. Once mixed with water i can use it for a long time (I keep it in a glass with cap). It's pretty easy to use and it doesn't smell!

Wallpaper paste! What a great idea. I can see several advantages. Do you use pre-mixed or powder?

I have this kit in the closet. It just moved up the build list. SIG does have some great kits. Of course, this is a great build.

Thank you Gentlemen! Also a great honor for me, to get a compliment from the designer of the kit! Befor the maiden-flight i have to practice with my flight-simulator.

I use the receiver/servo and motor/prop from a nine eagles spitfire. Its a 2,4 GHz System. The lipo has 150 mAh. My monocoupe has 3 CH (rudder, elevator and throttle). I hope the power is enough to stay in the air. I will let you know.

Thank you. Also, what are the details of the receiver/servo system, and the motor / prop?

GREAT CRAFTSMANSHIP and beautiful model!!

You did a beautiful job. The model kit has a lot of parts since it was designed for the AMA rules in the 1970's, scale rib spacing etc. I've wondered how it would do as an RC with the new micro systems. let us know. Tom Stark, designer of the SIG Monocoupe kit.

I use Wallpaper paste to attach the tissue. Then i shrink with water mist. After that 2 coats of 50/50 dope. The design of the model is very good. So i had no Problems with wrinkels.
