Hi Poppy, yes I have been focussed on other things for a while but still kept my hand in building when possible. I will post some of my other builds shortly. I must say the quality of the work here in the VA is as awesome as ever, I am looking forward to seeing your B-29 ready for taxing trials!!. The Choctaw plans I managed to get from a Russian website that has a mixed array of aircraft and plans (www.airwar.ru/other/drawe.html). I intend to build it as a Royal Australian Navy Wessex if or when I ever finish it.

Hey Rod, haven't heard from you in a while. A real beauty here. The Choctaw is an unusual build. Where did you find the plans?

Wing lights are made from clothing sequins with clear tape for the lenses. Works well however the lens is very soft so careful handling is required thereafter. decided to leave the spinner without blades for an "in-flight" look.

I wathered the underside however the kit decals (stickers) have very poor colour. The side roundels I painted on however you can see the bottom markings are the kit supplied and are quite pale.

Hi All. This is my completed rendition of this great Dumas kit. This is the second Dumas kit I have made and I must say they are a real pleasure to build.
