Believe it or not the pilot made an ROG from that cruel pavement with full throttle and Richthofen got airborne in summer 1917.Richthofen later switched to fly Fokker DR 1 late the same year. This model has 23 in. wing-span and weighs 9 oz. |

This Albatros DV was built years back when brushless motors were not in the market. A geared 180 brushed did it's job so well.Note the rough pavement at the field. |
